going to buy new bushings for front sway bar looking at the energy suspension greasables. I have heard rumors in past of problems with using these with a dss steering box stabilizer. does this make sense I think it shouldnt be a problem. to my best measurement the bar is closest to 32mm. so this is what I will order. part # 5. 5126R

I put the ES greasables on my sway bar with DSS and had no problems. That PN sounds like the one I used. I have a receipt in my service manual at home and will verify for you.

I found the receipt from Summitt Racing for the Energy Suspension greasable sway bar bushing and it is the same one you picked. The greasable one is Part number ENS-5-5126R is 32mm for the red one.

You ordered the same one I did and it is greasable.

Good luck,

Dave

thanks it will be here next week. Im assuming the removal is pretty straight forward. should I rub grease on the inside of bushing before. I know you probley dont have to use alot of grease on these. will I be able to remove these with out messing with the link ends. because next month I will be buying Max linxs as well. I dont know how much play I will have to install if I dont disconnect the links.

It's been awhile since I did mine and I removed the end links and used the end link bushings that (I believe) come with the sway bar bushings.

I believe you need to remove the end links to mess with the sway bar, or at least it seemed easier to me.

It'd be easier to do both the end links and sway bar bushings at the same time, otherwise you will probably be lowering the bar and DSS again, since it bolts under the sway bar, when you do the links. Either way it's not that hard to do.

you said I will be lowering the bar and DSS again. I have a spacer from my lift between subframe and then DSS and on complete outside is my sway bar and bushings. maybe Im confused how you explained that. but when I get my Maxx links next month I will do them both at same time seems less work plus I can clean and re paint my sway bar.
