Bushings replacement

For those of you that might have done this any advice?

I've searched high and low for advice on replacing the bushings on my lower control arms and not finding much.

Truck is a 2012 2wd 2500. Trying to get as much info and ideas as I can before I tear into the front end as this will most likely be a full day event and I need my truck back asap for school.

My other dilemma is to replace the bushings at 50$ a kit 2 per kit or spend 207$ for both Lh and Rh full control arm assemblies from am-auto parts. Any thoughts?

Unless you have access to a press to push the old bushings out and the new ones in I would get the complete arms.

That's really what I'm leaning towards doing. Would definitely save time and headache.

For those of you reading this.

I decided to go with just replacing the control arms and then finding replacement bushing for my other good arms. I have calls out to Energy suspension (who is looking for test vehicles) and prothane for bushings but so far no luck.

Alright all,

So I found that the bushings in the passenger side was completely shot and torn, almost pulled out when I tugged on them. Got both lower arms replaced with new ball joints and Moog Grease-able sway bar end links as well. I did find that the 03-09 2wd control arms are the same design and style, so I am looking into getting dimensions and see if they are in fact interchangeable because then for those of us with the 4th gens we would be able to use the energy suspension or prothane kits for the 09 year 2500 2wd trucks which would be SPECTACULAR!!!!.

I am working with Energy Suspension right now to figure this out. I will keep y'all posted as much as I can without crossing any lines or anything.

Energy Suspensions is awesome. I called them once with dimensions for a bushing that they didn't have an application for. The guy went looking, dimensions in hand, found some and then sent them to me for free.
