Thank you. The rust is very small, just on the passenger side on the lip of the wheel arch. You probably wouldn't see it unless I pointed it out to you. I am really anal about my vehicles and that kind of stuff bothers me.

Since you now have flares to cover up the damage...any plans on gouging out the cancer to keep it from spreading? Who cares what it looks like at this point....the key is to keep it from spreading further than it already has. And im sure you know as well or better than i do, once it starts it spreads with alarming force if not addressed.

Already done. You will notice that I didn't show a before pic of the passenger side rear. ;)

I have had the PW flares for about 10 years and they hold up great. Has anyone had any luck sourcing mud flaps / splash guards to fit these? I know I can bolt on a universal type, but I'd like to find something that looks better. I know Ram made a specific splash guard for 4th gens w/ fender flares - has anyone tried these on a 3rd gen?

I had a set of Husky Liner flaps on it for years. They for sure will not fit with the flares.

Wondering if anyone has the Mopar p/n for the set of Power Wagon flares?

I don't know if you can see it clearly in the picture, but I posted a pic of the inside of the flare with the # in post 11 of this thread. If that doesn't work, I'll try and look up where I ordered them from when I get home.

I tried that p/n but it's for a single flare...

Thanks!

My 03 just popped a couple pimples on d/s rear. Debating whether to fix it or flare it...

Without knowing your experience on rusty fenders can I suggest the following.....
Do your due diligence digging out the cancer before covering up. It doesn't matter if you dig all the way through, how bad it looks, etc. If you don't get to clean metal, . neutralize, and seal you are wasting your time and money. Simply slapping on fender flares with no rust repair will spare you one winter around here....if you are lucky. And that is a BIG if.

Just noticed those are listed for 05-08. Are all the 3rd Gen beds the same (at least at the wheel openings)?

If I remember correctly, they are the same except for a change in a couple of bolt hole locations around the wheel arch that changed at some point. The kit I got came with 2 sets of instructions, one for the earlier years and one for the later. Again, it was just a matter of where to drill the holes.

The DuraFlap drill-less have designs for those with flares, without flares and with aftermarket flares.
