I need help. I need uper and lower ball joints on my 2005 with 68k. All the research I have done Dodge wants $131. 00 for uper and $101. oo for lower . Moog is about the same I just ran across this co. called quad 4 and they are offering all four uper and lower for $279. 95 They are oem , when i asked why so cheep he said the just went up in price from $220 and they buy from the axel co. Anyone done business with thest people::-{} Shure sounds a lot better then $240. 00 a side.

I hate to quote the old adage "you get what you pay for", but ball joints are not the place to be cheap. They take too much time & effort or $$$ to pay to have these replaced. Most people will tell you to go with the Carli uppers, expensive but bullet-proof. I dont think they have lowers yet. I am going to hold off if I can and probably get the Dynatrac ball joints when they come out. They are supposed to be around $600 for both sides (uppers and lowers).

Well I have not done busiess with them yet, but here is a thread about them--

In short, the concensus about them is excellent customer service and quality products. Just to note, unlike Carli, neither of their ball joint kits are redesigned from oem specs, though the fact that the HD dana bj that they offer for our AAM axle suspensions is greasable is an upgrade from oem.

Check out the therad and give them a call--it seems like with this company you can get solid products, well designed tool kits, and excellent customer service, perhaps while still saving money. Let us know how it works for you.

Rock Auto has several choices for ball joints. Last year I got Moog lowers and Spicer non-adjustable uppers, all four for $235 from Rock Auto. You can get the TDR discount from them as well. Since the original OEM ball joints went out too soon imo and are not greasable I saw no point to buying OEM replacements regardless of their cost.

Wasn't Quad trying to sell the business a little while back? Are there new owners now? Not that it matters if the products and support are good.

My business with Quad 4 has been very good. I have not used their ball joints specifically, but they have good customer service and the parts I have purchased have been good quality.
