Okay, before I start searching, is there any place you guys recomend to get a good deal (best price) on a set of Bushwacker Extend a Fender flares? If I can't find anywhere on the net I will probably go with FourWheel Parts. Any suggestions? Thanks
bought mine at 4 wheelparts . Another place to check with would be desertrat , I have found that they some times have specials on things like flares. Another place that you could try is summit racing , they have free shipping that could make the difference on having the best price.
Thank you for the compliments on the truck. I need to get some updated pictures that show the truck lifted.
The flares on my truck are teh extend-a-fender flare. To remove the cummins badge I used a scalpal knife to cut the foam glue stuff (some people use fishing line). once it was off I used a little bit of amonia to remove any glue residue from the truck. The flares do a great job of keeping stuff from being thrown up on the fender but it has not helped much to keep things off the rocker panel. But I look at it as the thing is a fender flare not a rocker guard, to protect the rocker I am going to put mudflaps on the truck when I have the extra funds. You asked about mudflaps and I believe their would not be a problem mounting mudflaps. Molded mudflasp will not work though.
