I saw a IH 1466 tractor that had done that. Broke the bolts between the engine and transmission housing.

yeah me too, only it was a 1086 IH and it was my brother's. By the way if you're ever trying to pull a 14000 lb tractor onto a gooseneck trailer with a 3/4 inch by 100ft cable, make sure you have someone hold the trailer brakes!! The impending dent from the trailer raising the back end of the truck up and jackknifing into the side of you truck bed is not too becoming on a new dodge pickup.

What caused the tractor to break? The 1466 had a Westendorf loader on it. The buckets on those loaders are a little too big. Should be about a 1/2 yard smaller.
