Hi. Will a 2007 Dodge Ram with stock suspension and tires fit thru an 8' wide x 7' tall garage door? Looks like it would if I fold the mirrors in. I just know I'm not the first. My Mega Cab is too long but an extra cab short bed isn't too long. Do they make power folding mirrors? The drivers door is easy but not the passenger side. I don't like the truck outside if possible.

Mirrors will fit as long as they aren't in the extend towing position. You have about 3 inch on each side to play with.

I have a 8' tall and 16' wide door and I still have to fold my mirrors in. My wife backed out my 2008 Mega Cab truck once when the passenger side mirror was extend in the none tow position and $400 later I had to have a new mirror installed. They are always folded in now when I put the truck in the garage. Better safe than sorry.

I pull in and out of a 10' wide door with the mirrors out but down just fine, would not want to do it with a narrower door though.

My door is 8' Tall by 9' wide. I have to pull the drivers mirror in even in non-tow mode. I can get it in the door with both mirrors out but it is very tight and not worth the cost of a repair. As a side note, I have a mid-high topper on the pick-up now and it clears the top of the garage door frame by about 3 inches. My fence gate is 10 feet wide and when backing the TT through the gate, I have to pull in the driver's side mirror (tow mode) to keep one of the mirrors from hitting. I suppose if I was able to get the TT exactly in the center of the gate opening I'd be ok. Not the case. I have to approach the gate from a 45 degree angle and then straighten out the 51 feet of combined pick-up and TT right after the back of the TT clears the gate. Tricky but fun. My bride and I use walky-talkies now and the job is dramatically improved. Not to mention my ability to still come in the house following the parking of the TT!

Don't have the specs on 07 but my 06 book shows the 4X4 to be 79.1 inches tall and the SRW to be 76.6 inches wide and dually is 96 inches wide at the rear fenders. bg

You can squeeze it in, but the first time you are not paying attention/having a senior moment/playing on the phone etc you will wish they were at least 10'.

My garage door opening is ~7' x 16'. The truck has a cab high cap and I had the rear spacers taken out of the spring pack so it would clear. The truck has the stock 265 tires.

We have 8 x 9' doors on our garage. (still kicking myself I didn't go wider) Truck fits pretty easily, but mirrors are very close. Backing my boat in is a bit tougher; at 8-6 wide it feels like I'm threading a needle.
