I had an 03 and am familiar with some of the issues. IE: ball joints, heater door, etc
I like the 5. 9 for mileage and simplicity, even though the 4th gens seem to be pretty impressive.
I saw an 06 qc, 4x4, 3500 srw, sb with 35k mi for sale at a Chevy dealer. They had it listed for $39k for a few weeks and noticed they just lowered it to $34,988. High KBB is just over $33k, so I'm sure there is some more room for dealing.
This does seem like a lot for a 7 yr old truck especially when they are dealing on the 2012s, but its hard to find a clean low mile 5. 9.
I'm thinking if it could be bought for around $32-33k it might be a nice truck.
What issues are there with the 06? Can you add an exhaust brake to this truck?
It appears to be very clean and stock condition.
Thanks
