buying lift pump

Where is the best- cheapest place to buy a lift pump in central MN? I just found out not the dealership. BIG MOOLA

It's covered under the 100K mile waranty, if your truck mileage is under that. Otherwise most members say they are paying about $150-165 and putting them on theirselves to save the hassle of the dealership

Sorry, I just read the other post you put up about the mileage. Expect to spend what I noted above.

Get the serial number off the engine. Its on the DS front timing case.



Call Cummins Tell them the serial number and have them ship you one. You should also ask them for a couple washers that go between the lift pump and hoses.



Depending on the year of your truck, you may also need a wire harness adaptor for the new pump.
