Pulling campers for FEMA?

Looking for a used triple slide 36' 5th wheel. What brands/models are good quality and which ones to stay away from? Features/equipment to look for/stay away from? Anyone recommend a particular buyer's guide that is model specific and practical? We've looked at Thor Signature - Tahoe, Cedarcreek, Montana, Alfa, Damon, Carriage, Forrest River Cardinal - Spinnaker, Sportsmen, Jayco, Holiday Rambler. Any of these turn any cranks - one way or the other? Thanks!

Holiday Rambler, Hitchhiker/NuWa, Excel, King of the Road are all excellant brands.

As far as brands to stay away from, I don't want to start a flame war.

Check out Titanium . I have wanted one for several years, just got a 95 leftover about a month ago! The only thing I have found wrong with it was 1 basement light had a bad switch! Mine is also a 4 seasons unit. We used to put the RV away the end of october, this year we already have reservations through November. Look at the front end on the Link above. I have relized 2 mpg increase towing the Titanium over my 2000 Terry which was 6' shorter but 250 more lbs.

Great scoop. Figured it'd work, but you never know. Until we saw the new "See-Ya" with the flip open front, we were set on the Titanium. Definately a top runner. We walked around the campground & saw a Titanium with 4 slides. Schweeeeeet.

I saw a Titanium coming into town with a full dress Harley on it's rear bumper. :--)

I'd be very cautious of anything made by Fleetwood and Forest River. Some may be okey, but they are not known for quality.

I would add the Jayco line to Grizzly's list of caution, also if you start looking at a Montana check the area around the slides, especially the bed room one. It's not a case of if they will leak, but when they will leak, probably the only real problem they have. You also want to check the roof real close for any damage or soft spots and if anyone used silicone on a rubber roof. If they did look the trailer over real well for water damage. You never want to use silicone on a rubber roof, it wont adhere to the rubber and water just runs right under it.
