I was reading that periodic reflashing of your systems computers by your dealer will negate any power enhancements you've made. Just how is this possible. Naturally you'd remove any plug-ins before you took it in for any type of svc, except maybe injectors and you certainly wouldn't remove a tc/vb before you took it in. Can any body explain this to me. Especially reflashing the PCM for auto/transmissions. I think I have that right?

I don't know how it is possible. The two boxes I have on mine, the PowerMax and a VA, intercept the message from the computer to the pump and change it. No matter what the ECM is saying, the boxes tells the pump what it is set at. At least I think this is how things work.

I get around the dealer reflashind by not taking my truck to the dealer. They wouldn't work on it anyway.
