I started my truck up and tried to back it up and I heard a loud rattling kind of noise from under the hood and my truck started making a lot of smoke at idle. I took off the intake and looked at the intake on the turbo and noticed the fins had been contacting the housing. You can see in the picture the clean metal ring exposed on the housing where the edges of the fins are rubbing. It looks like the fins are shaped on the edges from rubbing too. It also has a lot of play, obviously, to where you can hear it hit the housing if you wiggle it. I guess the bearings are out or something. 185K

It's unfortunate that this had to happen to my stock turbo. Now I'm stuck with the Dodgezilla that's on the way! Oo.
