I am trying to run the feed line from the top of the OEM oil filter housing to the single (not dual) Amsoil bypass filter. The bypass filter is mounted on the battery. I am having problems determining the best route for the oil line. Also, did you guys use a 90 degree elbow right out of the oil filter housing or did you go straight up in between the two black tubes? I have used a 90 degree but cannot fgure out the best routing. I was thinking of going under the turbo front and then up around the back of battery and loop around to in side of bypass.

Can you guys let me know how you routed this line? Pics would be awesome!!

Thanks

Phil

When I did mine, I used a 90deg right out of the top of the filter housing, to a 2 inch 1/8NPT nipple to another 90deg fitting to the hose, was able to get my line away from everything Hot, sharp and/or vibrating.

Phil;

You can run the lines how ever suites you, but stay away from the hot lines and anything that might rub a hole. If you mounted it on the battery tray stud then straight over to the filler cap, if that is where you are going to return the oil. If your 24 valve has a mounting hole in the manifold,[exhaust] then use a wire stand off used for supporting a spark plug wire there. I used one and it acts like a heat sink and does not get hot. Had to enlarge the area to hold the hose and wire loom cover[plastic sheathing] I used for protection on the hose, works great. I need to get some pictures of it.

Check out Amsoilmans picts, and his mounting place.
