I'm looking for a bypass type fuel regulator to install in front of my VP-44 where my fuel pressure readings are taken - hoping to find an adjustable one in the 10-15 psi range that is designed for diesel fuel, and will flow about 50 gph. I'll be checking a few known sources like Jegs, etc. , but hoped someone here might have first hand info or suggestions to supply? I plan to route bypassed fuel back to the tank to reduce fuel line temperature buildup and foaming - and the basic goal of all this is to reduce head pressure and strain on the stock LP and added pusher, while still maintaining a steady and adequate fuel supply to the VP-44.

Any comments or pointers gladly accepted...

Gary, I don't run one with the PE pump, but this is the one I would use if I did...

I believe this is the return regulator that Csutton is running with good results.

Gary:

Contact David Lott at Diesel Innovations (Fort Worth, Texas) (www.dieselinnovations.com) for Kirban return regs used on PSD kits. I have one for diesel and will soon add one for water (on the PSD, not the CTD), works well and very reliable.
