Can someone tell me what the torque requirrements are for the cab bolts when installing step bars. This info isn't in the instructions. Tnx.

When I put my Lonestar Running boards on I think I torqued them to 75 lbs. They did not seem that tight when I took them out.

There metric bolts. You can get the numbers off the bolt head and get a torque chart and it should tell you. I was gonna do that but I forget.

Here is the metric bolt torque chart

On my Westin wheel to wheel bars it specs 60-65 ft-lbs. (These use front cab mount bolts and at the rear, cargo box bolts. ) The repair manual specs 60 ft-lbs for the cab mounts and 80 ft lbs for the cargo box mounts.
