My cab brake light doesnt work, although the bed lights do. Does any one know where the wires are routed on a 98 club cab so i can check the wires on the dash side?
If your '98 is like my '97 was, there is a fuse labeled CHMSL (Center-High-Mounted-Stop-Light) that is for that light. You might check it. I don't remember if it is in the inside fuse panel or the fuse box under the hood (if the setup is still the same on the '98)
You checked the bulbs? They are seperate from tht ones that are for the bed lights (there are 4 bulbs in there total-2brake 2 bed). If that's not it the wires run in the harness that goes down from the roof behind the rear drivers door along the threshold up to the bulk head under the dash...
I would 2nd MrDiesel's idea of checking the bulbs. While you have the lens off, install some clear silicone when reinstalling the lens. Mine was leaking, causing the passenger side floor to get wet.
