At 34,000 I've started getting a large amount of dust in cab, mostly thru the dash vents. I can clean off the dash, drive 5 miles down a gravel road and I'am nasty again! Any help for this duster

120 psi misses nothing

I farm and I'm in the dust quite often. My solution has been to blow the cab out with compressed air a few times a year. An amazing amount of dust comes from places that you can't vacuum like under the dash and the headliner. Best to do it on a windy day with both doors open.

Use Max/Recirc.

Use the Max setting on the A/C - it recirculates the air in the cab, instead of bringing in fresh air. I always do this when behind a smoking vehicle, on a dusty road, etc.

Re: more dust

when your AC is not on recirculate, the air is comming from that area right in front of the windshild. Now Ginos sells this foam filter stuff that is soposed to remove dust (not sure where it installs) but I think it goes in the cab air intake somewhere. May be worth a try?

But anytime I get near dust I turn the AC (or heat) on recirculate to keep the dust out.

Cab Fresh from Geno's

I put this cab-fresh unit in place 6 months ago and it makes a big diff. Geno's has them in the catalog. The install took about 25 minutes. Keep in mind the picture in the catalog has the filter turned upside down showing the white filter material in the photo.

This is not the way you install it... . the black carbon-pile is up in the little air holes and the white faces down. I think the photographer did this for illumination of the filter assembly so we could distinguish where the air holes are.

The thing installed is cool looking, and not hard on the eyes with round white holes reflecting through the windshield at you.

I like it very much, it's cut the dust to almost nothing.
