Got a recommendation/review for general consumption. I have a '12 2500 and ordered the interior filter kit from Genos last year. This not the filter that mounts on the exterior under the windshield (I did not order that b/c I did not want to have to drill into the plastic under the windshield to mount it), it is the filter that you install in the cab behind the glove box (the kit comes with a filter and little door that you mount behind the glove box after you cut out a little plastic with a "hot butter knife" where the filter is in other Dodge products.) It has been about 6 months since I cut the hole and installed the original filter, so I ordered a replacement filter and changed it out. I was surprised to find that the old filter was very dirty, it was visibly brown in a sizable circle where the bulk of the air must flow through and the folds of the filter had dust, pollen, and dirt in them...a good bit of it. Also, I have not noticed that lovely burnt oil smell you would occasionally get from a regen at a stop light since I installed the filter. So my two cents...order that filter kit and breath the clean air!! :)

I agree. I installed both filters the one under the windshield and the one behind the glove box.

My rationale was to install both and not change filters as often.
