Wondering if anyone has bought the cab fresh filter. Does it really work keeping dust and pollen out of the cab? Any info on ease of installation and satisfaction with product? Thanks baron

yes I bought it two months ago and yes I would say it does work. I installed about the first week of april in a clean truck along with a set of his seat covers and the dash is still dust free Oo. The seat cover on the drivers side needs to be cleaned as my truck is a work truck but im happy that the seats themselves are still clean.

I have one and it does a good job of filtering the dust... . Another advantage is the elimination of the junk and debris that can get into the area and damage the radiator coils from rusting and such... .

As you can see here, the hood just touches the top of the unit.

Does it fit all second gens? also, i see screws, does it need to be drilled and that black looved cover over the windshield wipers are replaced with this unit?

You might want to substitute the supplied screws with stainless or galvanized as mine are rusted to the max here by the coast.

It goes on top of the black cover, it does not replace it. You drill holes for the screws only in the plastic.

I'm going to get me one too. I just had my AC evaporator and condensor replaced (under warranty) and don't want to go through that again on my dime.

Th upper things near the windshield were used from stock and I cant remember but there might have needed to tap the lower screws through the plastic... . it is just a put on and screw it down kinda thing... . no mods nec.
