Just in time for colder weather, I am having issues with the heater in my 07. It had failed twice in the past. Replaced the broken door about 5-6 years ago (unfortunately I used OEM replacements instead of Heater Treaters doors) and a failed actuator 3 years ago.

This time is a little different. For the last few days, I have to turn the temperature control the entire way to hot before any warm air will come out. I can adjust the temperature back down from there. But, it will not allow incremental increases back up. You have to adjust it back to full hot for it to warm up again. New now this morning, it would not blow any hot air, even with the temp to max. After a half dozen or so times of adjusting it up and down, it finally started to throw some warm air

I'm thinking I have a controller problem this time. Any thoughts?

Might be the controller behind the knob has finally gotten bad, as opposed to the controller on the door.

You can drive the actuators with a 9v battery to test them from the control head. Reverse polarity to go the other way. Make sure control is unplugged before applying voltage.

Excellent. Thanks. I'll do that before I drop the money on a new control.
