Archived cab light install, need measurement asap

installing aftermarket cab lights and have wire hole drilled, need to know how far up on roof to mount, need measurement from edge of windshield moulding to front edge of cab light.



also i believe the cab lights stay at a 90 deg angle from windshield, or follow curve?



please help, truck half stuck in garage until done and raining outside!!

The center clearance light is at 5" from the back of the black windshield moulding to the front base of light.

The two along side the center are at 5. 25"

The outer two clearance lights are at 5. 5".



If you lower your headliner all trucks are premarked for the clearance lights and usually you can do them from inside in reverse without the template. Hope this helps and the measurements are off of my 98 Sport... ... ... Andy



P. S. -Let me know if you need the measurements from the sides at the door frame. Also the are curved like the windsheild which is the reason for the diiference in the measurements.



On Edit. .

From the center of your clearance light to the top of the OPEN door frame where the body rolls meet the rubber gasket is 27. 5". The next light over is 19" from the frame. The outside light is 5" from the frame.
