Cab Light Install Question

I installed the MOPAR cab/clearance light kit and I notice that when I tighten them down the front part of the lenses come down over the foam but the backs of all the lenses will not go down as far. Anyone else have this issue with these lights? I haven't noticed any leaks yet but I need to check good under all the rugs. And before someone asks, yes I used the template correctly as it is pretty simple.
