Where do you run the wire to on the cab lights, In between Headliner and the roof???? I was planning on running the wire under the rocker sill and up and out where the dome light comes out at, would this location be ok? I also plan on duck taping the wires flat to the roof, so they want interfere with the headliner I hope, if this is ok someone let me know, thanks

I am not sure if Dodge ran the feed wires up the inside of the left A pillar or up the left rear cab corner.

On the older Dodges it ran up the left rear cab corner.

You should have asked this in the other thread on light position. It would have made a thread that covered everything.

So does that mean you have to wire it in between the roofs?, that will be fun, you can't tape the wires to the roof under the headliner? Would this work?

The factory run the the other way. That way if there was a leak around the markers it would drain the water out somewhere else instead of into the passenger seating area. Running the wires between the headliner means you will drill holes into the steel innner shell. So any water can drip into the seating area now.

I found these rubber grommets that were perfect for the hole I drilled on the outside and I took Permatex Black RTV and glued the edges so water couldn't leak, same for the screw holes for the light housing itself, Wiring that in between those two roofs is diffenitely going to be challenging, FUN, and I just had to have those lights s#$t.

well sorry I set back thinking for a minute about those "AHEM" cab lights I wanted on my new 92 and thought, now just how in the H$%L did they wire that S%^T from the factory between those 2 roofs, #1 They had a hamster or mouse who had his electrical engineering Degree, or maybe he was just trained in the field, Gee Stretch from the fantastic 4 worked for them, or some kinda crazy S#!T cause there gonna be a few CURSE words said before I'm done, Cab lights oh yeah those look nice, hhmmm maybe those would look nice on my truck... ... .
