First of all do any of you with a sunroof have cab clearence lights???

Second question is, can it be done?

I know about the steel bar across the front kinda limits space withe the sunroof in there too, but sure was hoping the Clear Recon's would fit.

I have both but have no idea what is under (over) the headliner. I would assume if Dodge can get them in there you should be able to also.

Sweet now that's words I like to hear... ... . Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone wouldn't happen to know where i can get the wire harness from the dimmier, up the A-Pillar, and acroos the roof? Dodge only sells it with the whole cab light set up and not buy itself, or atlest that what they wanted to sell me.

Recon lights have a harness with them I believe. Its got to be as good as the one from the dealer, because its the wrong kit for 3rd generation trucks anyway.

Yep, I've got both as well. I've had the headliner off of the truck when installing the cab visor and overhead gauges, and seems like there was plenty of room to work with.

The space is more limited behind the sunroof, as there are channels that it slides back on when opened. This is what prevents both a sunroof and overhead DVD/entertainment option from being available on the Quad cabs. For the Megas, I believe it works.

That's what I thought too when I ordered them back in November. Never open the box untill yesterday. Nope just wire an plug from the light. I ordered the kit for truck with out cab lights. I don't know tried to call Recon yesterday, and kept getting a recoded message, so I e-mailed them... .

Good to hear thank you. I might need to find someone else that is a little more competant than the Dodge dealer was. I figurered they probably had to do a lot of them for customers that wanted them; so, I'd pay the high azz shop rates and get them installed there. Now, I may reconsider that decision, I'm just not sure whom else would install these things. I do not trust myself to drill 15 holes perefectly  I single Wilson antenna hole in the back sure, but 15 across the front , No way!!!

I'm sure any good body shop could do it for you. Also would like to know what Recon says about the harness. I was thinking about getting a set of the smoked lights for mine. Not sure if its worth the effort of drilling holes and wiring it all together.
