Any you guys have any water leaking with cab lights. I have 2000 Ram with factory cab lights and the center one is letting water in cab. I removed it and it looked ok, but when I went to put it back on I found one screw hole had water in it and other was dry. Under the screw heads are little plastic washers and one was cracked on the hole with water in it and I think is the problem. So I go to dealer to get some of them little plastic washers and guy looks them up and they don't show them on parts page just lite and plastic nut in roof. He says can't get em go to hardware store. Can't even get the foam gaskets that go under lite. This sucks. Have any of you had this problem and found these parts or go I go to dealer and take them off new truck at nite. Have you guys that put the cab lite kit on from mopar see any part numbers on instructions for the little plastic washers or the foam gaskets that go under lite. Thanks.

If you cant find anything else I have had good luck with the putty tape that is used on RVs to seal clearance lights and windows. RV dealers should have it. i sealed my cargo light with it and it worked great also pushed some in on top of the screw heads.

I had the same problem with the part numbers. I neede a replacement screw and the '94 book doesn't list a part # for the nut. It's the same as a license plate nut from something, they gave it to me and let me rummage through their spare hardware bin. I ended up at the hardware store too. That's probably your best bet. I wonder if the replacement light would have the parts?

RV caulk comes in two grades. The best (and stickiest so be careful) is butyl. The other has a consistency more like plumbers putty and squeezes out a little more.

I gave up on Dodge with small hardware parts. The software package they have is vague as heck. I have better luck with NAPA on small parts.

yep I had that problem with my 2001. Unfortunately I took it to the dealer and they used silicon to seal it. I found this later since I was wasing the beast and found where they had made a mess on the roof with spilled silicon.

But, the leak seems to have stopped. I guess I will address it when it comes time to change a burned out bulb.

I had a similar problem on my 1999 where there was water dripping from the left light of my overhead console. I suspected a clearance lamp, but it turned out to be the windshield weatherstrip. Dealer fixed it without much trouble or delay.
