Cab lights started leaking so did a search and found updated part numbers for the lenses and jam nuts.

cab lights# 55077559ad

jam nut# j4000141

Problem is that these numbers dont seem to exist on the Mopar wholesale website, so are these wrong or am I not trying hard enough to find them.

I replaced my cab lights (roof) with some LED lights from Auto-Zone. The gasket that comes with them is very good. I did not have a leak (on my 98 12v), just did not like the looks of the stock ones. Obviously the cheapest that could be found. These are not cheap, about $13 x 5 = $75. They look nice and it will be a long time before they will need replaced, if ever. Be careful to not let a wire drop down through the hole, unless you like to fish. Tape something to the wire that won't allow it to pass through the hole. I made a template for the new screw hole pattern. The hole for the wires can be used as before.

pull the cab lights and use silicon... mine are siliconed on. we put some cab lights on a buddy's truck today and did the same.....

no problems. If a bulb burns out, we can drop the headliner and access the underside of the lens since we drilled a 1" hole in roof of the truck to install the lights (didn't come with lights from the factory)

Jake from home it looks like the oe # supercedes to ac,the ad# shows for 06=07

The # for the nuts is unchanged.

The ad# comes with a formed gasket to help address the leak and cracking issue,it is recommended to replace all to maintain appearance. the complete kit is 82297252ab.
