Tom,
Mopar parts used to make a add on kit using stock parts for the rams, check with the dealer. Otherwise you can order the cab light harness from the same year truck as you have, and the light pieces, lenses ect. the light harness runs down the left A-pillar and behind the dash to the light switch. you can either find the open hole that is for the cab lights or tap into the parking light circuit. you will have to remove the rear seat, and remove the A-pillar loulkdings and all things that mount to the headliner, and remove the rear side panels to lower the headliner. It will not come out unless you remove the rear window, but you can lower it enough if you are carefull. The add on kit has different instructions included and a template, but if you go the pieces way, you will need about a 1" hole saw with the center pilot drill to start. the inner panel shpuld have the hole locations stamped in to guide you. drill the small hole from the inside first, the I suggest getting a couple of uni-bits to step your way up to the needed size to get the plug thru. Do this from the outside going in. A vacuum helps with the shavings while drilling. after that use the lights themselves to mark the screw holes, PRIMER up the holes to prevent RUST, install the wiring and put it all back together. It souunds harder than it is. I have done 2 from making my own kits and one with the factory kit. Factory kit just gives directions, and template, and you drill a smaller hole.
Sorry so long, but hope it helps.
