Cab Lights

My 2003 Quad Cab, cab lights leak as discussed in this months TDR issue #57page 42. I spoke with the dealer and they will not cover the replacement under warranty even though they have leaked for a few years now. However I also have a leak coming from the cab brake light unit! Has anyone else had this problem and what is the fix? An additional or new gasket? and can you buy just the gasket?

On my '01 I first tried to tighten the screws and found many of the nylon screw anchors were stripped. After replacing the stripped anchors and cleaning and waxing the area under the cablights I reinstalled them being careful as to not strip them again. Five years now and no leaks. On the CMSL I removed and cleaned around the stoplight and reinstalled using clear RTV. Also applied some to each screw before installing.

There are revised lights from Mopar with a differant gasket and differant anchors.
