cab lites & tray on floor

Can I get a 3500 SRW without the cab lites I understand they are required byDOT for rigs over a specified width so it would seem they are not required. Is there a delete for these cab lites when ordering a SRW?



l drove a couple of trucks Friday one had a tray with a couple of cup holders and a few more compartments in this aprox 12 x 12 inch tray the other truck did not have this feature. Anyone know option has this tray as I want to make sure my new truck has it.

I just went thru this same thing when I ordered my 2 trucks. You can not delete the cab lights on the 3500 even if it is a SRW. As far as the drink holder tray is concerned, all trucks I have driven have them. I would assume that only a base model would not have them.

It appears that the trucks equipted with a manual transmission have these floor trays on the hump, the ones with the auto trannys have the cup holders hinged onto the lower part of the dash. At this time I prefer the tray on the floor and it happens that I WANT a 6 spd. Just waiting for the right deal to come along I think I might just wait till fuel prices reach 3 bucks and then just take a drive around to the dealers and see if I can find one with a NV5600
