hey guys my 93 really need cab mounts, floors, and rockers. the rockers came with the truck but i am having some trouble finding cab mounts and floors. does anyone no of a catalog i can get with the replacement panels? i looked on LMC truck parts and they have nothing#@$%!!!!! the only dodge stuff they have is 94 and up. .

I would just find a cab of the same color and swap the whole cab over or even a different yr anywhere from 81-93 is all the same . and its fairly Easy to do .

I swapped cabs, not too bad. Lesson 1, when swinging cab from backhoe bucket, don't try to drive backhoe to cab storage location. Swinging cab contacts bucket resulting in big dents. :-laf I used the other cab and went slower. :)

:-laf:-laf I just pulled mine with the backhoe, then set it on the snowmobile trailer. Less dents that way! :-laf

took us less then 4 hours to swap a whole crewcab body over but inside was all ready clean . Even if you started on say a Sat Morning you should have it tottally done by Sunday afternoon .

I've been on mine since last fall. :D My donor cab is an 86 auto. I need to add the clutch pedal, figure out how to mount the master cyl etc, I swapped the hump, and am doing a bunch of other work too. Front springs, shocks, paint the frame, blah, blah, blah!

The biggest holdup was winter, when it's 10 or 12 degrees out, I'm not too motivated to work outside! :-laf

New Parts

Hey Pete JLIGHT Here. Just got my floor pans and D/S rocker panel yesterday from raybuck. Parts are really good quality. Im going to have a friend of mine put them in July Hopefully. I CAN NOT STRESS THE MESS THE INSULATING MATERIAL UNDER THE FLOOR MATS MAKE WHEN I BECOMES SATURATED!!!!!! Pull the crap out and keep a eye on the rust! Thank god it rusted top down instead of bottom up! Cab mounts are OK

J, mine rusted from the top down too. Right thru the cab mount. :{ I'm putting bedliner on the floor from firewall to bottom of the back window. I think that will seal it. :D

Do you realize how much noise that matting absorbs? Drive the truck for 1/2 an hour without, then put it in. I was astounded how quiet it got. ;)

Hey Pete update on my rusty truck floors! Friend of mine who is one heck of a bodyman put both floors and rocker panel on driver side. Stopped mon to see and holy poop did it come out nice! He is going to RINO LINE the floor and underneath for me. I will try to post pictures. He said my truck is one of the nicest rust free northern trucks he has come across ever! This spring we are going to do the wheel wells on the box and strip the truck down to bare metal and repaint. He said the primer from factory is no good. Believe it or not it doesnt need no other parts! Well nuff of the wind from me! talk to ya later!:-laf:-laf:D:D:D

J, good to hear! I've been driving mine for a couple months now. Still not quite all done, but close enough to drive! :-laf I bought some bedliner by Plasti-Kote, inexpensive and seems to work good. Kinda rough though, lotsa rubber chunks. Maybe it's because I only put 2 coats on.

The way I understand it, the primer isn't UV resistant. Only the paint. (or clear coat) Once it wears off, the UV attacks the primer, and it breaks down, causing the bond with the paint to fail.

Someday we'll have to meet up and compare trucks. ;)
