hay crewcabdiesel what did you you do for your wiring did you get all the harnes from a diesel or did you just ad the wires you need to the eng. comp that you needed looks like fuel shut off and heater and sending unitis is all that is differant at first look thanks George

I decided that having a spliced together wiring harnes was not in my best interest. Since I got everything for one cost, I changed everything, dash and all. Low fuel and heater all work like original. It seamed more simple. Now I really have a 91 1/2 truck that has an extra pair of doors!

Ditto,

My wiring harness is all 1991(early). with the exception of a little extra lenght:rolleyes: I also removed the anti-lock wiring and computer while I was at it. I also added OEM power door locks in the back two doors, but I don't think I will fool around power windows in the rear doors(kids can still use the crank;) )

Anti-Lock computer..........

Hey CCD, is that the little box up under the fender on the driver's side? Is that all it does, or does it have any other function?

I have one, but it's cracked on one corner, and if I don't need it, I'll just delete it... ..... :D

You NEED that little box for your truck, sounds like you have a 1991. 5 or newer wiring harness. The box inside the fender controls your cruise control and alternator and possibly your auto trans(if you have one). The computer I am talking about is BEHIND the clove box inside the cab. My wiring is from a "early" 1991 Dodge and has no engine control module. Upside in having an older version harness is that I use a old fashion Mopor voltage regular and I will bet that it is cheaper to replace than that little computer behind your battery  .
