Next week we are going to stay in a cabin near Duck Creek Village, Utah. The kids are 6,9 and 12. We have the following items on the list of possible things to do near there (not going to ski):

Snowmobiling

Tubing at Brianhead

Zion

Bryce Canyon

Grafton Ghost Town

Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Always found that at times like this was a GREAT TIME to talk to them like a Pard and see where their head is going. JMO

Thanks. I've been working nights lately and it will be good to spend some quality time with the little ones.

Your going to be close to Hurricane Ut, there is a musium in town that is intersting that has a lot of history about the early settlement days and a lot of artifacts. The voulinters are knowlegable about the early times. They also have a cook book that is full of interesting information. We bought one last year when we were there, interesting, along with some old time reciepes, of course. And there is Leeds, also just few miles away. Gift shop and kind of a Musium there to. At Bryce take your woolies its 9,000 ft Ele. high and cold this time of years. Should be outstanding for snowy winter photos.

Look at Cedar Breaks on highway 148 off the 14. . Very cool red rock with the Snow. . Down by Hurricane. . Pronounced hur-i-can. . Don't ask. . Utah has funny names . . Anyway, down by there is Sand Hollow State park. . there is a lake and red rock Sand Dunes. The sand on the dunes is a red/pink. on highway 9 next to Hurricane.
