I know these trucks were only 160hp from factory, I've been living with my new 92 now for 3 months, I have done alot to it, but I just can't believe its that sluggish, prior owner had pump turned up and fuel screw turned in, he had someone to do it and doesn't know how much they did turn it up, (he was about as sharp as a marble)I know the VE pump is alittle tired, so I decided to check CAC hoses for maybe a hole(when you get down on the ole truck it takes about a mile it seems like to get up and going, and it barely smokes right before you shift if really standing on it, and its just a puff or 2)so when I got the driver and passenger hump boots off and the metal tubes all had oil in them and it looks like old oil, I just put in new rotella-t synthetic, so I checked and it had used just alitlle, but not much, this oil was puddled in the hump boots and was kinda gooy looking, the turbo appears to have same stuff on the impeller blades as well as the air intake and heater grid, also the metal tubes had a light coating all on the inside, has something happened to the turbo in time, the truck gets GREAT fuel mileage, its just has no power it seems like, I have no gauges on it, anyone have a clue as to why this oil is there?????????
