I just got back from a trip to South Georgia and hand calculated mileage was 17. 6 mpg. The EVIC is showing 17. 4.
The truck took 30 gallons so that gives me a good baseline for the EVIC calculation using the last 30 gallons for it's calculations.
Round trip was 530 miles with about 80 miles two lane and city. Mileage is improving.
I still haven't towed yet and am hoping that will give me a little more.
As a side note, my low fuel warning came on with six gallons left in the tank.
