What other kind of top secret stuff are you doing down there in the valley ? I am pretty sure I haven't heard of removing the head to do the KDP you got something up your sleeve

KDP Jig

Brandon and others interested in KDP Jig who have responded to his offer for use of the jig in the valley. Just tuned in today (1/26). I'm interested in fixing my '97 before anything drastic happens. I have read a lot of posts regarding this problem and have never read that pulling the head was part of the fix. Would like to know how the fix went for Brandon and would eventually like to "borrow" the jig so I can remedy the potential problem in my truck. Please reply regarding your situation and where the jig is going next. I would like to track it so that perhaps I can use it sometime in the future. Good luck on your fix. gchas ( Merced)Oo.

killed 5 today

killed 5 dowell pins today, and brandons truck is up and running for the 2nd time in jan.

We did 5 pins in 4 hours today to be exact. Note these trucks were done back to back. Didnt start one until the previous truck was up and running. The jig works killer (pun intended), a lot of thought and planning went in to that thing. Instructions were very clear and made for a quick and simple kdp fix.

I was under the impression from photo's I saw on TDR, the KDP project is a MAJOR job. . If I remember, I saw a entire front end off the truck etc?



Was I looking at the wrong pic's or what? 4 trucks in 3 hours is great. . Wish i went...
