California Tire Chain Laws while Towing

Does anybody have a link to where California keeps its tire chain laws? I've searched for over an hour and can't find crap on it.



A friend insists that the law says you have to chain up all trailer axles if they have brakes, yet I seem to recall reading that only one axle needs to be chained.



So if anybody has a link, it'd sure be appreciated.

It has links to laws for all states. Looks like you'll need chains on one axle of your trailer. Good luck!
