How long to build a new truck?

Fixin' to order the TST #6 plate for my '96. I noticed on TST's website something about not for use on EGR equipped trucks (probably just the disclaimer stuff). I've also heard some stuff about delivery valve lift being less on the CA trucks than on the 49 state trucks. Can I expect 250/680 with this application? Do I need to change the delivery valves? Will the EGR valve have any impact if I leave it or junk it? TIA.

BTW, stock 47RH.

The inside of the EGR manifold is restricted badly. It can be modified but is cheaper just to buy the 49 state manifold and delete the EGR. Cummins West in Bakersfield has them at a good price.

Part # 49 State or 1995 Intake

I have a 96 Calif. egr truck and am preparing to install a TST Kit. #6 and 16cm2 turbo housing are here, but might change to a #5. DTT v/b - t/c and Jardine 4" turbo back exhaust ordered and I am awaiting their arrival. Autometer full A-pillar and gauges on their way also. I would like to dump the egr intake, and replace it with a 49 state or 1995 intake... Anybody have the part # for either ? Any other info or tips would be appreciated.

Get that EGR off now! It is killing your engine.

My 97 Ca truck had the 215 delivery valves and cam, but different plungers and barrels.

Forgive my relative ignorance, but what are plungers and barrels and do I need to replace them? Also, does this change with differnt CPL #?
