Calling all ALBERTANS for convoy to Nevada in May!!!!

Well, it looks like the May Western Regional Rally in Nevada is scheduled for May 1-5.



I'd like to see how many of us up in the Alberta (or surrounding areas) would want to head down there for the show.

I was thinking of taking the 5er down there for the stay.



Anyone interested in getting an Alberta convoy to head down there?

Man I'd like to....

... but it all depends on when Scott sets the date for the big Stampede Diesel Rally. If it doesn't fit with my days off-I'm gonna have to try to swing some holidays to fit it. I'm a contract operator-so technically I don't get holidays. However I work for (subcontracted to) some pretty good guys-they told me this year they'll cover 1 shift for me so I get some semblance of holidays... . thinking I have to take them in 1 block though.



We'll see here how it's gonna work out-so I'm a definite MAYBE

Still on the fence about this... . but leaning more towards going now. But I need some more info from those who are planning on going... . like when you were planning on leaving, when you're coming back etc. I need to leave myself about 3 days of vacation time to get to the Stampede Diesel Fest as it's also on my weekend to work ... . sucks to be me doesn't it? I could maybe even swing the SDF in the same sort of way I did to get to the one before Xmas... maybe get my coworker to take my call Friday afternoon and Saturday, start real early Sat. morning and be in there by 10:00 or so and skip Sunday's festivities... . man my head is starting to swell here . Too much thinking... .



Scott had sent me an e-mail saying he was leaning towards going, Shawn I assume you're still in? Anyone else? Let's talk about some dates so I can pencil it onto my calendar and see how much vacation time I'd have to burn up... . I'd really like to go down there to meet some more of the TDR fellas-and seeing different country would be a plus. I've never been south of the 49th-so it would be an interesting trip to say the least... .
