Greetings folks, my shop has been trying to locate a clutch fan for my 03 for weeks now, and are getting the run around from the dealers... I have a long trip coming up in 2 weks, and I need this thing working, or am screwed. My only choice will be to install a Flexilite 264 setup. I know what evertyone has said about these things not pulling enough air, but I may have no choice.

I did hear about a guy that has an 08 with this setup and he pulls heavy (38k) and the Flexilite setup has worked with no problems.

Anyway, any one know where I can get my hands on the fan clutch ???

Wish I could help you. The dealer here just recently got, Downsized and sent over to the Chrysler building. They have to order pretty much everything in. If it were me I would start calling outward from your location until you find a dealer that can drop ship one to you.

Here is the number for my dealer. They have access to a warehouse that gets things to them in 2-3 days. University Chrysler: 573-443-0481

Try Pollard Mopar Parts - Genuine Parts and Accessories They show one in stock. Good to deal with. Ask for Ron

Bunyan: Called Ron, he said they are on back order, but he did give me the number of another dealer in New Mexico that has 1 in stock. The guy indicated that these pasrts have been selling like hot cakes ! The only problem is that he wants nearly $500 shipped, and that's just for the clutch ! My mechanic said that price is too high, should be around $300..... For that price I shoulkd be getting the fan and the clutch... Found another at Henson Motors in TX, and they have a few and their price is $389...

Now I am hedging... I can get the part, but for about the same price I can have the Flexilite system installed...

I actually found another one in TX for $389 plus shipping. I have decided to go with the Flexilite 264 setup...

We will see how this thing works...

wild4stangs, did you try the website? The pollards website show the clutch for 335. 20. I don't know why he told you 500.

Horton is a manufacturer of fan clutches and fan hubs

They make them air released and spring applied for heavy duty

and electrically applied for medium duties.

I don't believe they have an application that's compatible with our ECMs
