Try going to Piers's site and down load the windows media version so you can watch his burn out video then when you have it open after loading it on your desktop, go to file/open the find your file on your C: drive and open it then. I have a turbo diesel folder in the C: drive and use windows media to play all the video's.
Re install Windows media player. There should be an option to do a custom install, I cant remember. When you get to the point, you can check all extensions that wmp will play. In essence this will make it your default player to play all mpegs, etc. Hope this helps.
the problem with realplayer it's a closed technology that works by streaming the video or audio from a realplayer server. There's no file per say to convert or save.
The last I knew, and it's been a year or so, noone had legal rights to provide a program or plugin for reception of streaming realplayer content.
