I'm in the market for a new turbo. My setup will be mach 5's or lsfarms injectors, power max 3 drag race, Edge EZ, ATS Exhaust manifold and water/meth kit. Just looking for opinions on this turbo or should I go to a different one. I tow 3 times a year at 9,000 lbs the rest is street fun only. I don’t want surging or more of a lag than I have now with the PDR HX40. What do you all think I should do as far as a turbo? Who really stands by there turbo's and has great customer service?

Thanks Chaz

I like mine.

I was running 200hp EDM's, Hot Rod Pump, a Custom Drag Comp, and HTT Pulse manifold. Not much lag at all with my 4:10's and 5spd. I could use a bit larger charger but I like the quick spool up of the Killer B2. EGT's with the box off are not too bad and towing isn't a problem. I have no surge at all to speak of, and it's got some wicked midrange power. Since I had a tip failure on my EDM's I'm running some stock injectors now and it still spools up pretty well. With the Drag off I can only hit 22psi but with it on level 1 I have no problem seeing 35psi. Now when I had the EDM's in with the Drag off I would see 42 to 45psi and with the Drag on anything over level 2 it will almost bury a 60psi guage with the right amount of throttle. My Killer B2 is nonwaste gated by the way.

You could go with the 64/12 combo. The 12 cm housing that HTT sells flows better than a holset 12 so don't think it will be as restrictive as the stocker. The 14 is a good one too. There is just a slight difference in spooling.
