Trailer Suspension Lift

MOR/ryde rubber shear springs

I have about 50 pieces of equipment that need to come out of central IA and delivered into the deep south. It is too tall to go on Semi flat beds and must be put on a step deck. I think this would be better hauled with a hot shot and would like to know what they are charging right now.

Dimensions:

9'6" high

102 wide and trailer needs to be 102"

11' to 11'6" of deck space per unit

about 7000LBS per unit Some 6500# some 7500# you would need to be able to haul at least two units and three would be better.

What is the charge including fuel surcharge. You would need to be licenced, insured and bonded.

Thanks Bryan

Two units at 7,000lbs each is over the weight of most hot shot trucks and three is way over. Better get a big truck.

Dido NIsaaca, to much weight to haul for long distances. I haul 14k fairly often, but not for more than a couple of hundred miles, I don't like doing that, and I am a hotshot driver.

Where in Iowa and where in the deep south? Rates are about the same as a "big" truck here... . $2. 50 a loaded mile... but I also have a "big" truck and step deck.

I see hotshotters haul three custom vans or four cars/pickups all the time on 40+ foot trailers. I know this is more than "should" be hauled, but they cross the scales everyday at 30K plus. It is legal and within the guidelines of many of the medium sized trucks.

Chris

Currently we are paying $1. 60 plus fuel surcharge for flatbeds and $1. 75 plus fuel surcharge for steps. I get about two loads a week, some on flatbeds some on steps. The equipment will come out of south-east IA into MS, AL, and GA. Most loads are right at 1000 miles with the range being between 900 and 1150.
