Cam Plate Question

Is there any other plate you can use in 215hp pump besides the #10 to make 330+hp. What happens when you use a high hp plate designed for a 94-95 truck? Just wondering

There are several different designs availble, that will make more 330 hp or more.

But Exhaust and air intake mods are necessary.

If you use one of the high hp plates in a 94-95 model they can make 250 or 270 hp

I think I understand your question. Let's rephrase it a little.



Does a #4 plate allow more rack travel than a #10?

You bet it does! The lower the #, the more the rack travel.

See what the #10 does in the middle row? Then ck across to see the hp gain over the #10! Just guessing, but the #8 is 10hp more than the #10 in the pumps in the middle row. If that holds to the 215 pumps, then the #8 is 340hp. From my experience with the #8, that is absolutely true.
