1999 3500 Found an open wire going to cam sensor, made a jumper wire to make connection(14awg) Now when it starts it runs very rough(5 -7 seconds)or until the tach drops out,runs smooth
Engine is operating derated at 63% fuel .
Does the splice in the wireing make a difference in ohms the ECM sees which may be out of limits ,why it runs rough till tach drops out.
OR try to get a good one from recycler(junk yard)
