Cambridge Police officer and Cummins

Yesterday I stopped by an ATM on my way home from work. As I was pulling away from the curb, I saw a Cambridge Cruiser come up behind me. I could see both Officers faces, looking a lot perplexed. So I proceded through the stop sign slow and as quiet as possible. The cruiser followed and quickly pulled up along my drivers side. I pull over and the cruiser window goes down, where as the officer states " What the hell do you have in that thing, it sounds like a dump truck... . That's an awesome sound coming from a pickup" . I replied, "It's just a little 6 cylinder cummins" . The other officer then said " We were behind you looking for a dump truck, and were concerned we couldn't see it . We though it was coming out of the side alley"



I then said " you can have the same sound, just need to buy a Dodge" With that they smiled, gave a thumbs up, and cruised

They sound like nice guys. Also, they appreciate the sound of a REAL DIESEL.

Hey Jeff... ... ... ... ... . if you still had the bumper dumper, you could have said it IS a dump truck... ... ... ... ... ..... you just don't want to be around when the load gets "dumped"

I,m surprised the cops from the Peoples Republic of Cambridge didn't write you ticket for loud and objectional noise (thats a real charge in here in MA), too much smoke, or just driving a big diesel drinking truck through Democrat Yuppie Land on the wrong side of the Charles.

Not that I have a problem with cambridge or anything.

MarkF, Yeah, I used to work there, before Genzyme bought them out. There used to be some good peel marks and donuts in the rear parking lot from my v-10.
