Wanted: Good sturdy jack blocks.

Trailer spring bolts

Was camping this week and on my second day out my AC unit died. :eek: The way it started to go was by the condensor just kicking on and then kicking back off. It would kick on and then right back off again. :(

Well in the process of trying to figure out what was wrong it just shut down and wont start again. :{ It was in the 90s and high humindity and damn hot it that tin box. :mad:

My camper is an 82 Resort by Fleetwood and the AC unit is a Miller Sea Breeze.

Anybody have any sugestions or I'm I looking for a new AC unit. ?:confused: :{

Help Please!

Darrell

Yep

I got the fan working but the condensor just kicks on and then right back off again. :confused:

I'm calling my RV place tomorrow to see what they can do. :(

What kind of AC units do you guys have on your campers?

The only ones I know of are Carrier, Colman, and Durathurm.

If I'm going to buy one I want a good one. :rolleyes:

Sounds like its low on freon,maybe it leaked it out,now its cycling on and off. I do not know how much $$ new ones cost,but if you need a new compressor,and a charge,its going to be $$,same with a condensor or evap.

Are you sure you had full voltage going to the AC?

I was at a campground in Northern California and had the same thing happen (compressor cycling on and off). I checked the voltage and it would drop to 70 volts when the compressor tried to kick in. My spot in the campground was at the opposite end of the power distribution panel.

can't help on the problem but if you need a new unit, try STANDBY POWER in michigan. if you are in indiana that would not be that far to ship. i got a new duotherm from them delivered to my town cheaper than i could buy one from anywhere around here.

their number should be 1 800 969 3966

hope to help

Not that

It wasn't week current draw. I brought it home and pluged it in to my 30amp outlet on the pole barn and it did the same thing. :(

It looks like I can no longer get parts for a Miller AC unit so I'm going to have to buy a new one. :{

Camping World has a Dua-Therm 13,500 BTUH unit for $521 does that sound good or can I find them cheaper than that?

Thanks again

hAVE THE FREON CHECKED FIRST -MAY BE JUST LOW ON FREON. OTHERWISE MIGHT BE A CONDENSOR. i WOULD HAVE A REFRIGERATION TECH CHECK IT OUT FIRST B4 I BOUGHT A NEW ONE. . JUST A THOUGHT !:)
