Towing Mirrors, Which one?

trailer plug location

Hi all

I did a quick search on the forums for camper trailer rentals and didn't see much.

Does anyone have experience, know of a good outfit in the Nebraska (Omaha) area, that can provide one way rentals. Time between deployments doesn't leave enough time with mama to justify the purchase of a trailer this year. Can do the stay at hotel thing with no problem, but the Mrs and I were pretty set on having something to tow this year. I hate being tied to hotel reservations!

I have it on good authority that the rec center at Offuit AFB has rental RV's. Give them a call and see what they say. Most military bases rent them.

You might try a search on the net instead of here. You are going to need to find a multi-state rental company to go one-way.

Have you checked out the IRV2 site ?

I called cruise america yesterday. They only rent small motorhomes, no TTs. They are only $1,000 plus a week with additional charges for running the generator (by the hour) they also rent slide ins with their trucks, chebbys.

Anyone in the area of Dallas wanna rent their 25-27 TT?

You are right about most Mil. Installations having R. V. rentals, but to access them you must have a valid military ID, ether Active Duty or Retired or Dependent. If you do, rock on, the prices are unbelievable. :)

The person I spoke with at OAFBs Outdoor Rec indicated that they wouldn't do one way rentals. If unable to arrange one way rentals beginning in Omaha, I will probable move to renting for round trip which I know the local trlr sales in Lancaster/Palmdale do. We were planning on making the trip from edwards to Omaha pretty quickly, leaving the remainder of the trip for visiting and vacationing.

The iRV2.com site is quite neat, I saw a few familiar names from this site there!
