The field is really only good for tent camping. They do have a few places with power and water (no sewer) we set-up a pop-up trailer and a horse trailer there, the rest of us tented.
we are staying at walnutridge campground its about 45 min. south of saturdays event. pretty nice from what i could tell on the web . check it out for your self. i resevered a cabin . www.walnutridgerv.com/campground/index.html
Walnut Ridge is a NICE campground, in fact they own the dealership where I bought my trailer. New Castle, Indiana is a great little town, I love it there.
Big Oak Park is full already? Awesome ! That's a prime indication of a massive turnout at Thunder in Muncie this year !!!
What is the closest hotel to the event? I have a friend getting married that weekend (poor *******) and don't have time to haul the camper. I just want to get room for Saturday night. Not one that they you pay by the hour either:--)
MAKE ROOM, I talked to anna at big oaks camp ground, got a reservation in the field I will be there friday with my 29' 5th wheel. any one want to convoy ?
