Who can attend the Rally around Mt Hood,July 16th?

Ive located a few areas for camping if your planning on attending the Summer Roundup at Timberline Dodge July 15th. A majority of the sites in the area are private and some do not allow tent camping, campfires, and have pet restrictions. Ive listed Washington sites which allow tents first. Rob,Im not sure how good they all are. I found them in my Trailer Life Campground book. The first 3 are the only ones that allow tent camping. The rest are MH,TT and camper areas with full hook ups. Most of them are Good Sam parks. This means they are rated by the Good Sam Club and have to meet certain standards. One of the things that I enjoy about a lot of the private campgrounds is that they have noise restrictions. Im able to get a good nights sleep without having some offroad rig barrelling by my TT in the middle of the night. I should add that these sites are relatively close to I-5.

Hey Mike, I'm going to make reservations at:
Portland Fairview RV Park on Sandy Blvd. Just want to see what a Trailer Life rating of 9/9. 5/9 is like! C U There!

Hi guys.....

Can't say as I am familiar with many of these, but I think (underlining the word think) I've been to the Fairview RV park, and it struck me as being nice... ... ... the one's up in Woodland are quite a drive, but I think they are nice also. Portland Meadows and Jantzen Beach MAY have lots of weirdos living there---not sure about that though.

Hope this helps.....

The park on Sandy Blvd. is pretty nice. I have not stayed there but drove through the park several times in 1998 while doing a surveying project in and around the park. Nice clean well maintained park, all paved, etc.

At this time I don't think I will be making it to the rally. You all have some fun for me. The Mt. Hood loop ought to be a lot of fun too.
