Camping this weekend in N. CA??

Any body going camping this weekend in Northern Califorina? Were planing a trip to up north towards Black Rock or South Antelope. I just wanted to see if any of you guys have been there or are going to be in the area!!

Give me an idea where this is I am looking for somewhere to go this weekend where I can ride my dirt bikes and maybe shoot a little. I was thinking the Long Barn area maybe.

I'm actually trying to plan a trip for June'02 were taking 4 weeks off and driving to Denali National Park! Now that will be a lot of Fun!! I've never had more than 10 days off in a row!!

Black Rock is 30 miles east of Red Bluff in the middle of the Lassen National Forst and there are alot of trails in the area for some good riding!

I am going camping but not in California. Can't wait to sit in the shade and just do nothing.

Were now camping in the Lower Nye that's 3 miles west of Lake Pillsbury wich is 17 miles north of clear lake!!

Might be headed up that way for a little riding on day this weekend - may have to drop by.

Camping/Fishing

In about 6 hours, we'll be taking our second home up to Klamath for some serious Salmon fishing. Reading some of the fish reports, I hear the Salmon are waiting just out side the mouth and at high tide, the water just pushes them up river.

Also, fish quota is up a little this year. It is 29,000 this year, last year was 2000!

Goin for a week!

We are going to Bucks Lake in the Plumas Natl Forest next week. We decided to wait until after the holiday so it should be nice and quiet. It is truly relaxing having your own campground (and shower and bathroom. ) The down side is 11 hours up there and 11 hours back. The best thing about returning this time is we won't be returning to L. A. Normally we are pretty depressed about halfway back from a trip because we know we are heading back into L. A. , but now that we live in the mountains, coming home will be much more pleasant
